Finance Manager

This position will be responsible for taking charge of the financial health and strategic direction of our project. This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage financial planning, ensure compliance, and provide valuable insights to drive business growth. The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, reporting, and treasury management while mentoring a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with project goals.
Monitor financial performance by analyzing key metrics and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to guide strategic decision-making.

2) Budgeting and Cost Control

Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Oversee cost management initiatives and recommend strategies for cost optimization.
Conduct variance analyses to compare actual results with budgeted figures and highlight actionable insights.

3) Financial Reporting and Compliance

Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
Coordinate external audits and oversee the timely filing of statutory and regulatory reports.

4) Cash Flow and Treasury Management

Manage cash flow to maintain financial stability and ensure liquidity.
Oversee banking relationships, financing arrangements, and investment activities.
Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and credit policies.

5) Team Leadership and Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Act as a financial advisor to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

6) Systems and Process Improvement

Assess and enhance financial systems, processes, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Implement advanced financial tools and technologies for streamlined operations.
Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes to adapt processes proactively.
