The Revenue and Taxation Specialist will provide expertise in the development and implementation of effective tax policies and revenue management systems. The role involves advising government agencies on tax policy reform, strengthening revenue collection systems, and ensuring fiscal sustainability in development projects

Key Responsibilities

Advise on tax policy reforms and revenue management strategies to enhance fiscal capacity and sustainability in development projects.
Develop and implement revenue collection systems, ensuring they are efficient, transparent, and compliant with local and international regulations.
Conduct assessments of existing tax structures and provide recommendations for improvements in tax administration and compliance.
Provide technical support to government agencies in preparing tax-related legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Analyze the impact of tax policies on economic growth, equity, and public services, and suggest adjustments as needed.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tax and revenue policies, providing recommendations for reforms.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.

Relevant Expertise:

Proven experience in revenue management, tax policy development, and fiscal systems.
Familiarity with international tax standards and best practices in public finance.
