MERN / Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced MERN Full Stack Developer with strong skills in React Native, Python, and PostgreSQL to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing mobile and web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the scalability and performance of our products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces with modern design principles.
Implement backend systems using Node.js and Express, integrating with Python-based microservices.
Design, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend functionality.
Ensure high-quality code through testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices.
Maintain version control using Git and actively participate in code reviews.
Optimize application performance on both mobile and web platforms.

Required Skills and Experience

Mobile Development:

Proficiency in React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
Experience with React Native libraries and tools like Redux, Expo, or Native Modules.

Frontend Development:

Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Backend Development:

Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
Proficiency in Python for microservices development or API integration.

Database Management:

Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
Familiarity with MongoDB or NoSQL databases is a plus.

API Development:

Experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth and JWT.

DevOps:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with integrating native device features like push notifications, geolocation, and camera.
Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Pytest.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Exposure to other Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
