TORs: Research Associate

Conduct thorough literature reviews and synthesize findings to support ongoing research projects.
Design and implement data collection strategies using various methodologies such as surveys, interviews, field studies, and experiments.
Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative data analysis to extract actionable insights.
Develop research proposals, including objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes.
Draft, edit, and review research reports, policy briefs, and academic papers, opinion pieces for newspapers.
Ensure that all documentation meets the organization’s standards for quality and accuracy.
Prepare presentations and materials for dissemination to various audiences.
Summarize research findings into actionable recommendations and executive summaries.
Support the design and delivery of training sessions and workshops aimed at building research capacity within the team and among partners.
Assist in identifying funding opportunities and developing grant proposals.
Collaborate with the team to secure funding for new and ongoing research initiatives.
Prepare budgets and project plans for grant applications.
