We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Estimator & Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a Technical Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimation, quantity surveying, and project scheduling. You will play a crucial role in supporting our project management and procurement processes by creating accurate project schedules, Gantt charts, and procurement databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform construction takeoffs and estimation for various projects.
- Conduct quantity surveying to determine material requirements and costs.
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely project completion.
- Develop Gantt charts to visualize project timelines and progress.
- Generate and maintain a comprehensive procurement database.
- Compile and organize detailed spec books for construction projects.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of estimation and construction takeoffs.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying and related software tools.
- Experience in creating and managing project schedules.
- Knowledge of Gantt charts and their application in project management.
- Ability to generate and maintain procurement databases.
- Experience in creating spec books and construction documentation.
