We are looking for a seasoned and professional "Senior Accounts Executive/Account Manager"

To oversee and manage the financial records, processes, and reporting for the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports for multiple business units, if applicable.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.

3. General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and reconcile ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management.
  • Monitor budget performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations.

5. Taxation and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., GST, VAT, income tax).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required financial information and explanations.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and ensure adherence to internal controls.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, reviewing their work and providing training as needed.

8. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews.
  • Provide actionable insights to management for strategic planning and decision-making.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar platforms).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., BBA, MBA, CA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
