As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive financial records, preparing detailed reports, and supporting regulatory compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately and timely.
Prepare financial reports and statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities including reconciliations and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and submitting tax documents and supporting audits related to tax matters.
Coordinate audit activities and provide necessary documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors.
Utilize ERP accounting software for daily transaction processing, reporting, and maintaining accounting records.
Monitor regulatory changes affecting accounting standards and ensure compliance through timely updates and modifications to processes.
Assist management with budgeting and forecasting by providing detailed and accurate financial analysis.
Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support internal controls by adhering to established procedures and contributing to the development of new controls as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and answer queries related to financial transactions and reporting.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and uphold professional ethics in all accounting activities.
