We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, stay up to date with the latest video production trends, and be proficient in using AI-powered editing tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. This role requires someone who can transform raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with the company's brand and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, podcasts, interviews, and promotional content.
Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other platform-specific video content.
Enhance videos using transitions, motion graphics, text animations, sound effects, color correction, and visual effects.
Ensure videos maintain a consistent brand identity, tone, and quality.

AI Tools & Technology

Utilize AI-powered video editing tools to improve editing speed, creativity, and production quality.
Stay updated with the latest AI technologies and video production software to optimize workflows.
Leverage AI for subtitles, voiceovers, background removal, object tracking, image generation, video enhancement, and automated editing.
Recommend and implement new technologies that improve content creation and team productivity.

Creative Content Development

Collaborate with the Social Media Manager, Content Team, and Marketing Team to understand project requirements.
Convert scripts and creative concepts into visually compelling videos.
Suggest creative ideas, editing styles, and storytelling techniques to maximize audience engagement.
Select appropriate music, sound effects, stock footage, and graphics to enhance content.

Platform Optimization

Optimize videos for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
Ensure videos meet platform-specific dimensions, duration, and quality standards.
Create engaging thumbnails and video previews where required.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

Stay informed about the latest social media trends, editing techniques, AI innovations, and viral content formats.
Continuously experiment with new editing styles, transitions, and creative approaches.
Research competitor content and industry best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film Production, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
2–4 years of professional experience in video editing and digital content production.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered video editing tools such as CapCut AI, Descript, Runway ML, Adobe Firefly, VEED.io, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, color grading, and audio editing.
Experience creating content for multiple social media platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
