The Unit Head - Quality Assurance (AVP) is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of internal controls related to credit risk, audit, compliance, and governance within a leading financial institution. This role requires preparing detailed reports, summaries, and presentations on audit progress and governance matters for senior management. Additionally, the position demands high attention to detail, proactive follow-up on audit issues, and collaboration with relevant departments to resolve outstanding audit observations. The candidate will assist in the review and improvement of policies and processes to minimize gaps and strengthen control frameworks. Strong proficiency in MS Office tools and exceptional record-keeping skills are essential to ensure accuracy and completeness of data shared with stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance, Risk Management Group, and other stakeholders regarding audit observations, governance matters, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor, track, and follow up on audit observations to ensure timely submission of information, replies, and supporting documents to audit teams.
  • Manage responses and action plans related to Credit Risk Management Division for proactive closure of audit issues.
  • Prepare status reports, summaries, replies, and presentations regarding audit and governance matters for senior management review.
  • Assist in reviewing existing processes, controls, and procedures to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain proper records of audit observations, compliance status, governance reports, and related correspondences.
  • Support the Senior Credit Officer in ensuring the implementation of credit policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant units within the Credit Risk Management Division for effective resolution of audit matters.
  • Highlight overdue, critical, or recurring audit observations to the reporting officer for necessary actions.
  • Assist in preparing periodic governance reports to facilitate management review.
  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and completeness of all data and documents shared with stakeholders.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
