Recruit AI is seeking an experienced Learning Manager at the Assistant Vice President or Vice President level to join our client, the National Bank of Pakistan. This leadership role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in designing and delivering training programs primarily in banking, financial institutions, or corporate sectors. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in soft skills, leadership development, behavioral competencies, and professional effectiveness programs. This role demands a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including at least three years as an in-house or corporate trainer. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director Staff College to develop tailored training initiatives that support the Banks mission to enable sustainable growth and inclusive development across its wide network of branches. In this role, the Learning Manager is responsible for creating and updating need-based learning content while ensuring training programs are engaging and interactive through lectures, group discussions, and case studies. The position requires proficiency in multiple languages, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of learning theories. Additionally, the Learning Manager uses innovative methodologies to enhance training delivery, evaluate effectiveness, and analyze feedback. This position is based in Lahore and offers a contractual term with the possibility of renewal, emphasizing continuous talent development to meet evolving organizational goals.
Responsibilities

  • Design and develop customized training programs aligned with different employee cadres and organizational requirements.
  • Update and enhance existing courses to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  • Structure training sessions including lectures, group discussions, and case studies to promote practical understanding.
  • Conduct training courses in line with planned schedules, administering quizzes and tests to evaluate trainee comprehension.
  • Assess, grade, and prepare reports based on training tests and evaluations.
  • Research and design long-duration training courses for newly hired and promoted staff to accelerate their professional development.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and other learning events following thorough training needs assessments.
  • Compile and analyze trainee feedback and evaluation reports to inform improvements in training delivery.
  • Implement innovative training delivery methods focused on retention and effective learning assessment.
  • Regularly review training programs to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand emerging learning needs and craft appropriate programs.
  • Ensure proficiency in utilizing MS Office suite and online video conferencing tools to facilitate hybrid or remote training sessions.
  • Maintain clear and ongoing communication with supervisors regarding training progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Perform additional assignments and tasks appointed by the supervisory staff to support overall talent development initiatives.
