Join Recruit AI as a BIM Coordinator - Power, where you will take charge of developing, coordinating, and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for power-related projects. You play a key role in ensuring strict compliance with project requirements, client standards, Employers Information Requirements (EIR), and approved BIM Execution Plans (BEP). This role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM models including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing models, integrating inputs from subcontractors and manufacturers to produce federated models that support accurate design and construction workflows. You will actively manage clash detection processes, prepare detailed reports for clients such as DEWA, and ensure the progressive and precise population of Construction-Operations Building information exchange (COBie) data in line with asset information requirements. Your responsibilities include enforcing rigorous quality controls on BIM deliverables, facilitating coordination meetings, and monitoring teams adherence to established BIM standards throughout project phases. The role demands a proactive approach to resolving collaboration challenges by promoting clarity, fostering positive cooperation, and guiding project teams using model-driven insights to enable informed decisions. Additionally, you will validate as-built BIM models and compile final information for project delivery and closeout, contributing to continuous improvements and supporting lessons learned documentation. This position requires a strong commitment to professional development and staying current with emerging BIM technologies and methodologies, ensuring Recruit AI delivers cutting-edge digital construction solutions. The role does not involve managing a team but requires collaborative coordination with multiple project stakeholders. As the BIM Coordinator, you act as the central point for interdisciplinary coordination among all project teams, guaranteeing seamless information flow and consistent BIM processes. You will lead quality assurance by enforcing compliance with regulatory and project-specific guidelines. You are entrusted to address challenges proactively, promoting open discussions about workflow enhancements and the adoption of best practices to improve model accuracy and project outcomes. Your data-driven approach enables transparent and fair decision-making by leveraging BIM analytics and clash detection results. You support the preparation and continual refinement of the BIM Execution Plan, while actively monitoring its implementation and providing regular feedback to BIM management. In this role, your contribution ensures that digital construction models remain accurate and reliable throughout design, construction, and handover phases for power infrastructure projects.

  • Ensure progressive and accurate population of COBie data aligned with asset information requirements in coordination with appointed parties.
  • Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure all BIM models conform to DEWA EIR, approved BEP, MIDP, TIDP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
  • Coordinate updates to BIM models reflecting construction progress and verified as-built conditions, supporting accurate project documentation.
  • Facilitate BIM coordination meetings within the project teams and with DEWA to address and resolve all BIM-related issues timely and effectively.
  • Monitor adherence to the BEP and BIM standards; provide ongoing feedback and status reports to the BIM manager.
  • Validate final as-built BIM models for accuracy and completeness of constructed assets prior to project delivery.
  • Compile and verify final model information to meet client requirements and support smooth project handover.
  • Assist with project closeout activities and contribute to the documentation of lessons learned aimed at future process improvements.
  • Ensure continuous interdisciplinary coordination among project team members through up-to-date, accurate BIM models and streamlined information flow.
  • Address collaboration challenges actively by promoting clarity in model interpretation and resolving misunderstandings related to BIM processes.
  • Provide timely guidance during critical project phases by highlighting essential BIM-driven insights and coordination priorities to enable informed decision-making.
  • Maintain an unbiased, data-driven approach to problem-solving using BIM analytics, clash detection outputs, and model reviews to ensure fair resolutions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by refining BIM workflows, enhancing model accuracy, and adopting best practices across projects.
  • Encourage open team discussions to overcome coordination challenges, share insights, and strengthen collaborative BIM methodologies.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and keep current on emerging BIM technologies, standards, and digital construction trends.
