AM Internal Audit

Recruit AI is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AM Internal Audit professional with at least six years of experience to execute comprehensive risk-based internal audit assignments. This role involves evaluating and enhancing internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices in line with the annual audit plan. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of financial, operational, supply chain, procurement, sales, distribution, marketing, regulatory compliance, and IT audit processes. This position requires the ability to independently manage multiple audit assignments while maintaining high standards of integrity, independence, and objectivity. The AM Internal Audit professional will support fraud risk assessments, investigations, compliance reviews, and other special assignments. The role includes conducting market and warehouse visits to verify on-ground controls and compliance, preparing clear audit reports with actionable recommendations, and following up to ensure management addresses audit findings effectively. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills to engage with various departments and locations effectively.
Responsibilities

Execute risk-based internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan, ensuring thorough coverage of key organizational areas.
Evaluate and enhance internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes to support organizational integrity and compliance.
Perform detailed audits across financial, operational, supply chain, procurement, sales, distribution, marketing, regulatory/compliance, and IT functions, both within departments and across multiple locations.
Assist in conducting fraud risk assessments, investigations, and compliance reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
Conduct on-site market and warehouse visits to assess the effectiveness of controls and adherence to regulatory standards on the ground.
Develop clear, concise, and well-structured audit reports that provide practical and actionable recommendations to improve organizational processes.
Follow up on audit observations and management action plans to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
Maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, independence, and objectivity while executing audit assignments.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to facilitate audit processes and ensure transparent communication and collaboration throughout engagements.
Manage multiple audit assignments independently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
