As an SEO Expert at our IT firm, you will be instrumental in creating captivating content for our new company website. Your role will encompass elevating organic traffic, boosting search engine visibility, and optimizing overall online performance. Collaborating closely with marketing, content, and development teams, you will employ effective SEO strategies to enhance website usability and ensure high rankings for our services in search engine results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify pertinent and high-performing keywords aligned with our IT services and industry trends.
- Optimize content for both search engines and technical audiences by staying updated on industry-specific terms and technical jargon.
- Implement on-page optimization techniques such as meta tags, headings, URL structures, and internal linking to enhance the website's search engine ranking.
- Optimize technical aspects including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup for optimal SEO performance.
- Collaborate with web development team to execute technical SEO best practices such as site architecture improvements, canonicalization, and XML sitemaps.
- Conduct regular audits to detect and rectify technical issues impacting search engine performance.
- Work closely with content team to create and optimize engaging content pieces including blogs, articles, case studies, and whitepapers.
- Develop content strategies aligned with SEO goals and audience preferences.
- Create and implement link-building strategies to acquire authoritative backlinks from reputable websites and industry publications.
- Foster relationships with relevant websites and influencers to expand online presence.
- Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics, generating insightful reports to track progress and inform data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices within the IT and digital marketing sectors, applying insights for improved search visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Demonstrated success in devising and implementing effective SEO strategies, preferably within the IT or technology domain.
- Solid grasp of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO principles.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz).
- Excellent communication skills, adept at cross-team collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and draw actionable insights from data.
- Problem-solving orientation and meticulous attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a keen interest in staying abreast of industry trends.
