- Implement internal audit plans, policies, and procedures by applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Inspect books of accounts and ensure that they are free of misstatements.
- Examine of monthly and quarterly sales tax and income tax returns and ensure that these are prepared as per applicable laws.
- Verification of payments made by a company to its employees against monthly salary, wages and incentives also verifies payment to vendors against purchasing.
- Conduct cash and stock count activities and ensure that such activities are being performed according to SOPs.
