Video Editor (Full-Time)

Rapid North seeks a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in video editing, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication abilities, and commitment to meeting project deadlines. The position involves a hybrid work schedule based in Model Town, Lahore, requiring three days in the office and two days remote. The Video Editor will directly manage a small team of two individuals, overseeing their tasks to ensure high-quality content production. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished videos that effectively communicate the intended message and engage the audience. They will collaborate closely with other creative members and support production goals. This role demands creativity, organizational skills, and the capacity to work under tight schedules while maintaining the company's standards. The ability to present a professional portfolio demonstrating previous work is essential for evaluation.
Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw video footage into finished products that meet the project's specifications and brand guidelines.
Manage the video editing workflow, allocate tasks, and provide guidance to a team of two video editors to ensure timely delivery of content.
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve software tools to execute high-quality editing, color correction, and sound synchronization.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, communicate progress, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Maintain an organized digital library of video materials, ensuring easy access and efficient use of assets.
Pay close attention to detail when selecting shots, trimming sequences, and enhancing visual storytelling to maximize audience engagement.
Meet strict deadlines for multiple projects while balancing quality and creativity.
Provide innovative ideas and solutions for improving video content and editing processes.
Prepare and share video drafts for internal review, making necessary adjustments to align with expectations.
Ensure all video content complies with company standards and legal requirements applicable to media production.
Coordinate with production and marketing teams to deliver video content that supports overall company campaigns and initiatives.
Train and mentor team members to develop their editing skills and professional growth effectively.
