Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment logs.
  • Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures, including verifying personal information and insurance details.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address patient and visitor needs.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (experience in healthcare is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic familiarity with hospital management software is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
