Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to hospital policies and regulations.
Review and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Identify areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and improvements.
Collaborate with management and staff to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the hospital's operations and risk areas.
Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various departments.
