The Deputy Medical Superintendent will assist the Medical Superintendent in overseeing and managing the hospital's operations, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, compliance with regulations, and smooth functioning of all medical and administrative activities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Medical Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring efficient functioning of medical, administrative, and support services.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the medical staff, nursing, and paramedical personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and hospital policies.
  • Oversee patient care services, ensuring a high standard of treatment and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in the implementation of hospital policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure the smooth flow of operations in each department.
  • Monitor and improve clinical and non-clinical processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Assist in managing hospital budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Respond to patient concerns, address complaints, and resolve issues on time.
  • Ensure that the hospital is prepared for internal and external audits.
  • Represent the hospital in meetings and maintain communication with external regulatory bodies.
  • Take over the responsibilities of the Medical Superintendent in their absence.

Qualifications:

  • MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
  • A postgraduate qualification, an MPH (Master's in Public Health), is a Must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and MS Office.Note: Candidates from Faisalabad will be preferred.
