Responsibilities
- Maintain working schedules on a day to day basis
- Recruit junior staff and train them according to the company policies
- Brief employees about rules of the cafe
- Ensure that the machines such as coffee machine or tea machine are working fine
- Make sure the cleaning is done before the daily operations start
- Keep a record of daily/monthly expenses and revenues
- Coordinate with suppliers for the stock of raw materials
- Maintain healthy relationship with customers
- Coordinate with the staff according to different shifts and confirm the availability
- Plan smooth execution of events
- Maintain the standard and quality of the services provided
- Coordinate with the baker and chef to plan out daily stock
- Ensure that the needs of the customers are fulfilled
- Manage the billing procedures
- Ensure smooth operations of our cafe when we are understaffed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management
- Candidates having a diploma with relevant experience can also be considered.
- Certification in Hospitality would be preferred
- Proven experience of working as a Cafe Manager, Hotel Manager or a similar role Basic knowledge of handheld restaurant POS systems
- Ability to handle coffee machines and other appliances
- Great team management skills
- Ready to work in shifts
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Extraordinary communication and organizational skills
- Pleasant personality
