We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in taxation laws of Pakistan, banking regulations, bookkeeping, and auditing practices for private limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant taxation laws of Pakistan, including filing tax returns and coordinating with tax authorities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage bookkeeping tasks to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accepted accounting principles.
  • Conduct audits and assist in external audit processes to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance. 
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage banking operations, including payments, fund transfers, and reconciliations. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. 
  • Stay updated on changes in local and national accounting, taxation, and banking regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Provide support during financial planning and analysis by offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on taxation and banking laws in Pakistan.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s taxation laws and regulations. 
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other accounting software).
  • Experience in auditing the financials of a private limited company. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
