Qatar Charity is a Doha-Qatar based International Non-Governmental Organization. Since the inception of QC services in Pakistan early 1992, the organization reflect its greater scope of work to respond to extreme poverty and the Government’s priorities. QC is undertaking programmes associated with the socio-economic development of the Country. Project Summary:
Under the project, with support from WFP, Qatar Charity (QC) will be targeting socio-economically disadvantaged rural communities in Rajanpur. The project will specifically focus on integrating water resources management, including flood water management through water ponds and piloting hydrological initiatives in 10 villages of Rajanpur. At a broader level, the project will also provide trainings, communal assets, and livelihoods support to enhance resilience against economic challenges. The project activities would result in quantifiable indicators such as increased water availability, improved agriculture related activity in target villages through water supply, and household income enhancement. For the livelihood and enterprise development related activities, the Skill Development Officer would be required to design, implement, and evaluate skill development activities aimed at enhancing the employability of beneficiaries. The Skills Development Officer must have a strong background in business development in the context of early recovery projects. She will be responsible for the daily management and execution of enterprise development and income generation activities within the project.
1. Job Summary:
Within the project, focusing on building resilience of skilled artisans and workers of Rajanpur (preferably female), the Skill Development Officer will be leading the life skill training, vocational skill training, income generation, and market system development in Rajanpur for improving the lives of target beneficiaries. The position holder will fully engage in and be responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementing, and managing of entrepreneur skill development, employment and business development, and related activities. The position holder will mainly aim to improve and developing the skills and linkages of beneficiaries to increase work opportunities. Using digital platforms and a dedicated outlet/workshop in Rajanpur, Skill Development Officer will intend to increase the financial inclusion of beneficiaries and enhance their access to financial services. The overall outcome of project would help to flourish local business and relevant skills, enhanced access to decent employment opportunities, financial access, and improved well-being for beneficiaries.

Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Economics, or social sciences.
b. Relevant experience
03 Years -04 Years’ experience in same capacity and preferably in International INGO focused on income generation.
Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating skill development or training programs.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training techniques.
c. Computer knowledge MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), Outlook
