QA Manual / Automation Engineer Playwright

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Manual/Automation Engineer to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on both manual testing and automation using Playwright. This role involves testing web applications and APIs, managing defects, preparing test documentation, validating releases, and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes. The position operates during the morning shift and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform thorough manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct API testing to validate endpoints, data integrity, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects through the defect management system, collaborating closely with development teams for resolution.
- Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Validate software releases by executing comprehensive test cycles to ensure quality standards are met before deployment.
- Participate actively in QA process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and testing methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support product quality and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing of web applications.
- Solid understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
