We are currently seeking a dynamic individual ready to advance their career. This position is for an Accountant, focusing on delivering practical bookkeeping and financial services for our clients based in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all bookkeeping duties for our clients
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Manage payroll processing: calculate salaries, wages, deductions, and taxes, ensuring compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations: identify and resolve discrepancies for accurate financial records.
- Analyze financial data: identify trends, variances, and cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Use QuickBooks software to track expenses, reconcile accounts, and generate reports customized to organizational needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from a top-ranked business school or ACCA, CMA, or CAF.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Advanced to intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software, including advanced knowledge of features and functionality related to accounting, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
