Property Miles is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to manage financial reporting, general ledger activities, bank reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate should have basic ERP knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. This individual contributor role focuses on maintaining financial integrity, supporting audits and tax filings, and delivering timely financial insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns on time and facilitating audits as required.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations to verify and correct discrepancies in financial records.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data.
- Monitor and process payments, receivables, and other accounting transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
