We are looking for a dedicated Category Assistant to join our Groceries Commercial team. In this role, you will support the Category Manager in day-to-day operations, assist with product listings, manage relationships with vendors, and ensure the efficient execution of grocery operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations within the groceries category, focusing on inventory management and market research to stay competitive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Category Manager with daily operational tasks.
- Support product listing and price management.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality.
- Perform market research to identify new product trends and opportunities.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in reordering as necessary.
- Support in developing promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
