Dvxel is an AI-native software and product development company delivering innovative digital solutions across industries such as AI assistants, hospitality technology, fintech, events, SaaS platforms, and customer-facing web applications. We are looking for a versatile designer to lead the full visual and interaction design process across multiple products. This role involves transforming initial wireframes into polished interfaces, scalable design systems, and purposeful motion that enhances usability. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to various domains while maintaining a consistent design language. This position focuses on software product design and interface animation rather than graphic design or video editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI chatbot widgets, including conversation layouts, onboarding flows, quick actions, message components, typing indicators, and various states such as error, success, and escalation.
- Create dashboards, analytics views, admin portals, and customer-facing applications across multiple client projects.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and information architecture before progressing to high-fidelity designs.
- Design empty states, error states, and onboarding experiences for each product.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems with reusable components, typography, spacing, color palettes, iconography, design tokens, and interaction guidelines.
- Ensure all components comply with accessibility standards, including contrast, focus states, touch targets, and WCAG AA fundamentals.
- Document components clearly to facilitate seamless use by designers and developers.
- Design and animate interface elements such as page transitions, loading states, onboarding sequences, hover and micro-interactions, chatbot avatar animations, and empty states.
- Produce production-ready Lottie animations using After Effects and Bodymovin for developer implementation.
- Own animation design and handoff specifications, understanding technical feasibility without coding.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Prepare comprehensive developer handoffs including Figma specs, exportable assets, prototypes, and animation exports.
- Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Coordinate with illustrators or brand designers when custom illustration or character artwork is required, providing briefs and direction as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing digital products, SaaS applications, or web/mobile platforms, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Prototyping, and Design Systems.
- Strong After Effects skills with demonstrated experience shipping Lottie animations in live products.
- Experience designing both consumer-facing and admin/dashboard interfaces.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles across desktop and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design tokens.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility fundamentals and usability best practices.
- Basic HTML/CSS literacy to understand technical constraints and provide informed handoffs (coding not required).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, owning significant aspects of the product experience with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience designing AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or chatbot experiences.
- Background in hospitality, booking, fintech, or events-related products.
- Skills in Rive animation.
- Basic illustration or icon design capabilities.
- Experience working within Agile product teams.
At Dvxel, you will have the opportunity to work on AI-powered products across multiple industries, owning projects from concept through launch rather than designing isolated screens. Our small, highly technical team values design’s direct influence on product direction, offering room to grow into a Lead Product Designer role as the design function expands.
The monthly salary ranges from PKR 90,000 to 160,000+, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and product ownership. This is an in-person role.
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing at least two product case studies demonstrating their design process, along with at least one shipped Lottie animation used in a live digital product (live links or screen recordings preferred). A resume is also required. Applications without a portfolio or those showing only video editing work instead of product motion design will not be considered.
