Prime Interiors seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of three years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing final bills for commercial projects, ensuring accurate cost assessments and thorough documentation. This role focuses on cost management and contractual aspects throughout the lifecycle of construction projects to optimize financial performance. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee the financial planning and analysis of commercial construction projects, working closely with project managers and contractors to measure quantities and finalize billing processes without managing a team. In this position, the Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in controlling project expenditures and validating billing statements to support the companys financial objectives. The candidate will deliver detailed cost reports and maintain strong attention to compliance and contractual obligations. This role requires proficient analytical skills and a meticulous approach to ensure all commercial projects conclude with accurate and comprehensive final accounts.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finalize detailed final bills for commercial construction projects in accordance with contract specifications and company policies.
  • Measure and quantify materials, labor, and resources used on projects to ensure accurate cost reporting.
  • Review contracts and project documentation to verify contractual terms and conditions related to billing and payments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to gather all necessary data for accurate cost assessments and billing.
  • Analyze variations and change orders to assess their financial impact and update final bills accordingly.
  • Conduct thorough cost control and risk management to identify potential budget deviations and propose corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and correspondence related to project billing.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relating to construction contracts and billing processes.
  • Prepare and submit progress payment applications and final accounts for approval in a timely manner.
  • Assist in dispute resolution involving financial or billing issues with clients, suppliers, or contractors as required.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry standards, pricing trends, and cost estimation techniques relevant to commercial projects.
