Responsibilities:

Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures
Responsible for meeting production goals.
Communicate with other Shift Supervisors, Department Manager and Operations Manager.
Responsible for leading production staff to achieve production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Manage the processing operations during the shift assigned
Have Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Proficient in using MS Office, SAP. 8. Maintaining records related to production, rejections, material movement and manpower productivity
Knowledge of the working of hydraulic and mechanical presses
Familiar with running of a press line and different types of presses that are used in the pressing process
Knowledge of different sheet metal gauges and tolerance values
Basic knowledge of steel grades, mechanical and chemical properties
Knowledge of different types of die and die setting process
Skilled in using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometer
Familiar with various national and international sheet pressing standards used by the automotive sector in Pakistan
Skilled in reading and interpreting sketches and engineering drawings
Knowledge of 5S, Safety , Kaizens, TPM aspects
Ensure reduction in raw material wastages by close monitoring of machinery condition, raw material quality and focusing on skill enhancement of labor to keep wastages within targets

Requirements:

Must have 5+ yrs experience in sheet metal industry
Must be atleast DAE3.
Must have experience from a reputable firm
