As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our team.
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 2-3 years of experience to contribute to the development and maintenance of our suite of software solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing server-side logic, ensuring the scalability and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between server and client
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
- Maintain code integrity and organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Must have knowledge of microservices
- 2-3 years of experience in Node.js development
- Proficient understanding of server-side JavaScript
- Experience with Express.js or similar web application frameworks
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
