Pragmatic Solar is seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Field Technician to join our team. This full-time, field-based role involves assisting in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar panel systems at various locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems, including wiring, mounting, and configuration.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to ensure optimal conditions for installation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to solar energy systems.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Keep detailed records of installations and service calls.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Diploma DAE) are preferred.
