Power BI Developer

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer with solid expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable business intelligence and analytics solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. This position requires close collaboration with multiple data sources and technologies to produce insightful reports and dashboards aligned with business needs. Candidates available immediately or on short notice will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models customized to meet specific business requirements.
- Build end-to-end solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, and Notebooks.
- Write and optimize complex DAX formulas, Power Query (M) scripts, and data models to ensure efficient data processing and performance.
- Design, implement, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to facilitate seamless data integration and transformation.
- Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Azure services, Excel, APIs, and other relevant data sources to maintain smooth data connectivity.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, and access controls to uphold data privacy and compliance standards.
- Optimize report performance through query tuning and managing data refresh schedules to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective business intelligence solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain detailed technical documentation for all BI assets.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in Power BI development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its ecosystem.
- Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling techniques.
- Proven experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Azure data services is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as PL-300 or Microsoft Fabric certification are highly desirable.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Background in enterprise or multinational client reporting is a plus.
- Competitive salary starting from Rs 180,000 per month.
- This role requires in-person attendance at the designated office location.
