Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Ensure day to day real-time entries and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports according to regulations.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and suggestions for business growth.
- Prepare timely Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Create yearly budgets with department heads.
- Track performance against the budget, spot differences, and recommend actions to fix them.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage payments and collections to ensure timely transactions.
- Oversee invoice processing, payment schedules, and customer account reconciliations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
- Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure enough funds for daily operations.
- Maintain relationships with banks and improve cash management strategies.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submit tax returns on time (VAT, sales tax, income tax, etc.).
- Work with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely audits and tax filings.
Inventory & Cost Management:
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to track inventory and control costs.
- Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize waste.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:
- Set up and maintain strong internal controls to reduce financial risks.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support the accounts team, providing guidance for daily tasks.
