L.t.V Driver Required

Pothohar Fisheries is seeking a reliable and experienced Light Transport Vehicle (L.T.V) Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel. The ideal candidate is a responsible individual with a solid understanding of safe driving practices and thorough knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures. This position requires an active and healthy person not above 45 years of age who can operate delivery tasks efficiently while complying with all road safety regulations. The candidate will be a vital part of Pothohar Fisheries' logistical operations and must be able to provide local references, demonstrating trustworthiness and familiarity with the local routes and environment. The L.T.V Driver is expected to perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, routine engine tune-ups, and basic engine maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and road safety. The driver works independently, managing all tasks associated with their responsibilities without managing a team. Responsibilities

Operate the Light Transport Vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering strictly to road safety regulations and company policies.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and address any vehicle malfunctions or safety hazards.
Conduct routine basic vehicle maintenance, including basic engine maintenance and tune-ups to maintain vehicle performance and reliability.
Ensure compliance with all government and local regulations related to vehicle operation and transportation safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle, reporting any significant issues promptly to the maintenance department.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery and transport tasks while considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
Provide excellent punctuality by adhering to designated schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of goods or transport of personnel.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle usage, and any incidents occurring during the operation.
Communicate proactively with the management team regarding any delays, issues, or logistical challenges encountered during operations.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Utilize local knowledge to optimize routes and make informed decisions during unexpected detours or traffic disruptions.
Provide local references as required, demonstrating reliability and strong ties with the community.
Comply with company requirements, including health and age criteria, while maintaining a safe and active physical condition suitable for the role.
