PNY Trainings seeks a knowledgeable Truck Dispatching Instructor to deliver comprehensive education in truck dispatch operations and logistics. This role involves teaching both theoretical concepts and practical skills to prepare students for careers in the international trucking and logistics industry. The instructor covers topics such as load booking, route planning, freight management, carrier communication, compliance standards, and the use of dispatching software including load boards like DAT and Truckstop. The position requires at least three years of teaching experience and extensive hands-on expertise in truck dispatching within the U.S., UAE, and Canadian markets. Minimum 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Truck Dispatching, Freight Dispatching, or the Logistics industry. Although this role does not entail team management, the instructor must be adept at guiding and mentoring students to develop readiness for professional roles or entrepreneurial ventures in freight dispatch services. The instructor is responsible for implementing the structured course outline provided by PNY Trainings, ensuring all content is delivered within the assigned timeframes and remains current with industry regulations and technologies. Strong classroom management skills are essential, as is the ability to conduct practical assignments and real-world scenario demonstrations that enhance student engagement and understanding. The instructor also supports students in career development activities such as interview preparation and identifying freelance or remote job possibilities.  .


Responsibilities
  •  Strictly to the PNY Trainings course outline and complete all modules within the specified timeframe.
  • Deliver clear, through instruction covering theoretical and practical aspects of truck dispatching based on the approved curriculum.
  • Educate students about the fundamentals of trucking and logistics industries, with an emphasis on the U.S. and Canadian markets.
  • Provide training on load booking, rate negotiation, route optimization, and dispatch operational processes.
  • Facilitate hands-on experience using load boards such as DAT Load Board and Truckstop, along with other transportation management software.
  • Coach students in effective communication techniques with brokers, carriers, and truck drivers to simulate professional interactions.
  • Instruct on the preparation and processing of dispatch documentation, freight invoicing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement practical assignments, live demonstrations, and case study analyses to link theory with real-world industry practice.
  • Evaluate student progress through quizzes, practical tests, assignments, and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Update and refine course materials regularly to reflect changes in trucking regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed student records including attendance, performance tracking, and progress reports within LMS/CRM systems.
  • Offer guidance on career opportunities within the trucking industry, including freelance and remote job options.
  • Collaborate with academic and training teams to ensure quality delivery and continuous curriculum improvement.
