The Assistant School Manager supports the School Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the school. This role involves managing administrative tasks, supporting faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with educational regulations, and contributing to a positive learning environment for students. The Assistant School Manager will also play a key role in fostering communication among staff, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist the School Manager in administrative functions, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining school records.
  • Staff Coordination: Collaborate with teachers and staff to support curriculum implementation and provide resources for effective teaching and learning.
  • Student Services: Assist in managing student enrollment, attendance records, and academic performance tracking. Address student concerns and facilitate communication with parents.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that school policies adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Assist in preparing for audits and inspections.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and organize school events, activities, and parent-teacher meetings to promote community engagement and student involvement.
  • Financial Oversight: Support budget preparation and financial management, including monitoring expenditures and assisting with fundraising efforts.
  • Data Management: Maintain and analyze school data related to enrollment, attendance, and performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facility Management: Assist in overseeing the maintenance of school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the school administration, teachers, parents, and the community to enhance communication and collaboration.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in school management and educational leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting, preferably in administration or management roles.
