Looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team! As an SQA Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products throughout the development lifecycle. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:
We are currently seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Karachi. In this role, You will collaborate closely with our Operational/MIS Team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. From conducting tests to identifying defects, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards for our products. The responsibilities will include:
Module Testing:
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and plans for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to track and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to prevent errors and ensure issues are addressed.
- Validate data integrity and consistency.
- Design and execute performance-testing strategies using tools like JMeter, Load Runner, or Gatling.
Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with automated and ad-hoc testing.
- Proficiency in Automation Testing using Gherkin, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Familiarity with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, and CURL APIs.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Integrate testing processes into development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, and HP Quality Center.
Quality Assurance:
- Understanding of QA processes and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Accountability for thorough documentation and reporting of test cases and defects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science or relevant field.
- Certification in Software Quality Assurance or an advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, including creating QA automation for enterprise, web, and mobile applications.
- Experience with QA frameworks like JEST and Cypress.
- Hands-on experience with any of the following: Service Now, PHP/Laravel, React, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, etc.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and methodologies.
