PlasCity – Custom Plastic Extrusion Profiles is seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator with at least one year of experience to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining plastic extrusion equipment, specifically working with materials such as PVC, ABS, HDPE, PP, or other engineering plastics. This role demands a detail-oriented individual capable of setting up extrusion lines, calibrating extruders, and adjusting dies to ensure consistent product quality. The operator will play a critical role in executing production instructions and interpreting technical drawings, supporting the overall manufacturing process efficiency. In this position, the Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing a team of 13 persons, guiding and collaborating to meet stringent quality standards and production goals. The role requires excellent troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve extrusion-related issues while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities

Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines to produce profiles according to technical specifications and quality standards.
Set up and adjust extrusion lines, including extruder calibration, die setup, and machine settings to optimize production performance.
Read and interpret production instructions, technical drawings, and process parameters to ensure adherence to production plans.
Maintain consistent product quality by monitoring material flow, temperatures, pressures, and machine speeds during the extrusion process.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process variations promptly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production operations.
Lead and coordinate a team of 13 operators, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high safety and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of extrusion equipment to ensure operational reliability.
Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the production area to uphold a safe working environment.
Collaborate closely with quality control and production planning teams to address issues and improve extrusion processes.
Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining accurate documentation of machine settings, production data, and quality records.
