Contract PHP CodeIgniter Marketplace Integration Developer Job Type: Contract Experience: 2–4 Years Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid Job Overview We are looking for an Intermediate PHP CodeIgniter Developer on a contract basis to work on eCommerce marketplace integrations, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Best Buy . The ideal candidate should have strong PHP/CodeIgniter experience and practical knowledge of APIs, databases, inventory synchronization, order processing, and marketplace workflows. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using PHP and CodeIgniter . Integrate and support Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Best Buy APIs . Manage product listings, pricing, inventory, orders, returns, and shipment updates. Integrate shipping APIs such as Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, and USPS . Work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, webhooks, and cron jobs. Troubleshoot API errors, inventory mismatches, and order synchronization issues. Optimize database queries and background processes. Fix bugs and enhance existing marketplace modules. Maintain clean, secure, and documented code. Required Skills 2–4 years of PHP development experience . Strong experience with CodeIgniter . Experience with MySQL/MariaDB and REST API integrations. Practical experience with at least one marketplace API such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or Best Buy. Knowledge of Git, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, OAuth, and webhooks. Good debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Preferred Skills Amazon SP-API, eBay Sell API, Walmart or Best Buy API experience. Shipping carrier API integration experience. Knowledge of inventory, OMS, ERP, or marketplace management systems. Experience with cron jobs, API monitoring, logging, retries, and background processing. We are looking for a reliable, technically strong, and deadline-focused contractor who can quickly understand an existing eCommerce platform and deliver assigned marketplace integration tasks.
