Pharma Net is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and tax compliance. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting software and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in accordance with regulatory standards. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and transparency within the organization.
In this position, the Accountant will also manage a team of five, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective workflow and compliance with internal policies. The successful applicant will have at least five years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills to help Pharma Net achieve its financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Oversee tax compliance activities, including preparation and submission of tax returns and coordination with tax authorities.
- Utilize accounting software to record and manage financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.
- Lead and supervise a team of five accounting professionals, providing training, performance feedback, and support to enhance team effectiveness.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve financial controls and operational efficiency.
- Perform periodic account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts in alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and legislation to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support company-wide financial planning activities.
