Responsibilities:
- Conduct bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage payroll processes and associated administrative tasks.
- Oversee inventory management and contribute to profit and loss analysis.
- Handle receivables and payables, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Navigate sales tax and income tax procedures.
- Assist in auditing processes and collaborate with external auditors.
- Manage merchant payments and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Conduct ratio analysis to provide valuable financial insights.
- Collaborate in budgeting and financial analysis projects.
- Create and interpret graphs to communicate financial data effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, including bookkeeping, financial reconciliation, and tax management.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Ledgermax is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
