Education: Intermediate or equivalent
Experience: 1-2 years in inventory management
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Organize and maintain the inventory in the designated storage areas.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of items to facilitate easy retrieval.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock levels to the purchasing team.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in handling and storing materials.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory activities and status.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (if applicable).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
