Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team at DataStep. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for clients while working closely with our clients to understand their needs and requirements and develop solutions that meet and exceed their expectations.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in time sensitive and ambiguous environments under an Agile operating model.

Our technology stack is primarily .NET and AWS.

Responsibilities:

Design and build software applications using .NET, AWS and SQL Server
Work with clients to understand their needs and requirements
Collaborate with other engineers to develop solutions that meet client expectations
Design scalable and performant solutions while minimizing tech debt
Work with large databases and know how to analyse and extract data

Requirements:

Solid understanding of C# / .NET and solution design
5+ years of proven experience in software engineering, building high performant and scalable solutions
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and Event Driven systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Ability to work in ambiguous environments
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
