Tax Accountant

Paramount Associates is seeking a diligent and meticulous Tax Accountant to join its finance team. This role involves preparing tax returns documentation and collaborating with Manager to resolve tax matters efficiently.

> Minimume education: B.Com.

> Required Experience: 2 to 3 years

Responsibilities

Manage and prepare record of sales tax returns, including collecting, reviewing, and submitting necessary data and annexures.
Prepare quarterly advance income tax calculations and ensure accurate annual income tax return filings.
Coordinate with managers to ensure timely submission of tax returns and address any tax-related queries or issues.
Process weekly withholding tax payments and perform reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and legal compliance.
Compile quarterly withholding tax statements and liaise with external tax consultants for timely submission.
Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation for all tax filings, payments, and reconciliations to support audits and reporting.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of tax records to support financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
Enhance internal controls related to tax processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective procedures.
Use accounting software and spreadsheet tools proficiently to organize tax data and generate reports.
Apply analytical skills to review tax matters, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions where necessary.
Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
