Senior Accounts Officer

This role oversees the activities of the company related to all operational compliance, account management, inventory and bookkeeping. It also ensures the month-end closing process and monthly accounting and analysis activities.

This includes monitoring and assessing the various systems and reporting tools integral to the close process, posting journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations and identifying issues regarding financial impacts that need to be resolved. This role also needs to be working with the other financial experts involved in maintaining the company’s finances and sales reports.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and participates in the monthly closing process and other daily activities e.g. journal entries, accruals process, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.

• Budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing

• Order taking and building strong communication and working relationships with all distributors of the company

• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

• Identifying and addressing financial problems and opportunities for the company

• Communicating with company-associated banks and custom clearance service providers to ensure the smooth arrival of shipments and document clearance

• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations

• Support worker communication with the management team The JD is not limited to the responsibilities listed above.
