Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the microservices deployment in different stages like SIT, QA, UAT, Staging & Production.
Assist in the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
Manage the build, test, integration, and deployment in production and DR
Responsible for documentation of system configuration, processes, and tools used by the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours deployment support (as required)
Ensure both release management and change management processes are followed
Have a thorough process methodology and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with the development and systems administration teams to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure.
Have sound knowledge of managing Kubernetes clusters with multiple nodes.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – preferred.
Fresh to 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role
Linux Administration Certification (RHCSA), Gitops Certified with argocd(ArgoCD), and Source Control Management with Git(SC102) will be preferable.
Knowledge of working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Strong concepts and working experience with the Ubuntu Linux platform
Strong knowledge of CI/CD implementation with Jenkins, Argocd, etc.
Strong knowledge of Version controlling using Gitlab
Sound knowledge about containerization (Docker)
Sound knowledge of automating the build and deployment of .Net core & micro-services application
Basic knowledge of a scripting language (Bash & YAML)
Self-motivated, quick learner and a responsive team player with the ability to work under pressure and deliver quality outcomes.
Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skill

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance.
