The Head of Data Sciences/Analytics is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the organization's data strategy, governance, analytics, and technological initiatives. The Head of Data Sciences/Analytics will lead the design, implementation, and management of data policies to enhance PRAL's efficiency, innovation, and decision-making capabilities, ensuring alignment with its mission of advancing tax administration and revenue collection systems.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with PRAL's business objectives.
  • Provide vision and direction for the use of data as a strategic asset.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate data-driven insights into organizational decision-making processes.

Data Governance

  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in data usage.
  • Promote data security and privacy, mitigating risks associated with data breaches or misuse.

Data Management

  • Oversee the development and management of data architectures, platforms, and tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy, availability, and accessibility of critical data assets.
  • Drive the creation of advanced data warehousing and analytics systems.

Analytics & Innovation

  • Lead the development of advanced analytics, including AI and machine learning, to extract actionable insights.
  • Promote the adoption of data-driven innovation across departments.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends to maintain PRAL's competitive edge.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary data team, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and governance professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Sciences, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of implementing data strategies and driving business impact.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in data governance, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms for big data, cloud computing, and business intelligence.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
