The Pricing Executive will develop and manage competitive pricing strategies for freight services. The role involves analyzing costs, preparing quotations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maximize profitability and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to create competitive rate structures.
- Prepare accurate and timely freight rate quotations for both domestic and international services.
- Negotiate rates with carriers, shipping lines, and other vendors to secure cost-effective deals.
- Maintain and update pricing databases and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align pricing with business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and incorporate variable factors like fuel costs in pricing.
- Prepare reports on pricing performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in contract negotiations by providing insights into pricing structures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree .
- At least 3 years of experience in freight services or logistics pricing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and relevant pricing software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
