Creative Video Editor

Os Prime Studios is seeking a Creative Video Editor with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic media production team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and a solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and sound design to produce captivating and polished video content. This role focuses on editing a broad range of content, including YouTube videos, documentaries, commercials, and social media clips. Attention to detail and the ability to work reliably on-site are essential to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery. Familiarity with After Effects and motion graphics is preferred but not mandatory. This position requires an individual who is passionate about visual storytelling and skilled in combining various elements such as video footage, audio, and visual effects to create engaging narratives. The Creative Video Editor collaborates closely with creative teams to follow references and guidance accurately, sourcing appropriate B-roll and visual assets to enrich storytelling. While this role does not involve managing a team, the editor must demonstrate responsibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new techniques and workflows within a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring smooth pacing and clear visual storytelling.
Apply color grading and color correction techniques to enhance the visual quality and mood of videos.
Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to augment the narrative and viewer engagement, with preferred use of After Effects.
Edit audio elements, including audio mixing and sound design, to ensure clarity and complement the visual content.
Develop storyboards and creative sequences that align with project goals and client or director references.
Source and integrate relevant B-roll and supplementary visual assets to support the primary content and enrich storytelling.
Follow detailed creative briefs and feedback accurately to produce videos that meet or exceed quality standards.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout editing and post-production to deliver polished finished products.
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and handle revisions efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve creative output.
Operate effectively in an on-site work environment, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a proactive learning attitude.
