We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Plant charge who will be responsible for the operation & maintenance of Electrical and Absorption Chillers, AHUs, Split AC’s, cooling towers and ancillary associated Equipment. He will be responsible to lead and supervise a team of subordinates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Plan, execute and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance of heating, ventilation and HVAC equipment and machines in an effective and efficient manner to achieve maximum uptime of equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify and address issues promptly, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and inspection of all heating, ventilation and HVAC equipment, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s and Split AC to minimize downtime.
- Oversee inventory management of HVAC parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports on HVAC system performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with customer for their feedback and resolve their queries
- Training of staff on troubleshooting, safety and good engineering practices in HVAC systems.
- Ensure safety at work in all respects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair especially in Absorption and Electrical Chillers with management skills
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) / B.Tech in HVAC or a related field.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of BMS System.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to HVAC system management and reporting.
