Origency is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with strong proficiency in WordPress theme development and Shopify store setup to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in Shahra e Faisal and requires 1 to 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, along with solid knowledge of Shopify customization to deliver seamless e-commerce solutions. The role demands keen attention to responsive design, website speed optimization, and SEO-friendly development practices to enhance user experience and online presence.
As a WordPress Developer at Origency, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including design and marketing to develop, maintain, and optimize websites for local and international clients. You will take responsibility for troubleshooting and resolving website issues independently while ensuring high performance across various devices and platforms. Although this role does not involve managing a team, collaboration and clear communication are essential to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins tailored to client specifications.
- Set up and customize Shopify stores, incorporating Shopify Liquid templates and e-commerce functionalities.
- Implement responsive web design techniques to ensure optimal display on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Optimize website performance focusing on speed, security, and SEO best practices to improve user engagement and search engine rankings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress and Shopify platforms independently.
- Collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and content teams to implement website features and enhancements.
- Perform regular website updates, bug fixes, and maintenance to ensure continuous operation and reliability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to expand website functionality and e-commerce capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain documentation for ongoing support and future development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables.
